Join the Women in Tourism community from 5pm on Thursday 7 March 2024 at the Moffat Distillery, Moffat, to celebrate International Women's Day.
Meet with industry colleagues and get to know new ones in relaxed, informal networking, enjoy refreshments and hear from our keynote speaker, Louise MacLean, Director of the Signature Group, who'll talk about the importance of resilience when dealing with challenges and times of change. WIT Member Melanie Allen, Owner of Nithbank Country Estate, will be on hand to welcome guests.
This year's #IWD theme is #InspireInclusion and our WIT events aim to celebrate women's achievements across the sector, understand what the concerns of the WIT community are and how we can take action to drive gender parity.
We'll have a live link-up to all other WIT events on the same evening, so will be able to enjoy an address from Women in Tourism Chair Susan Russell, as we connect with events in Glasgow, Inverness, St. Andrews and Moffat.
